Google Ads’ Budget Pacing Update: What It Means for Ad Scheduling and Daily Spend Control
Google Ads is changing how daily budgets pace when ad schedules are applied. From June 1, 2026, campaigns will pace toward the full monthly budget limit regardless of active schedule days, which means advertisers using weekday-only or weekend-specific campaigns may see spend pushed harder within eligible windows. For accounts managed to strict day-by-day budget targets, ad schedules should now be treated as serving controls, not spend controls.
